Global Accreditation Assessment Services Popularly Known as GAAS is a flagship ownership under SHAMKRIS Charity Foundation is Independent and non-profitable board responsible for providing accreditation for Certification bodies/ Agencies in the fields of Management system certifications and Independent third party inspection, Training, Testing Laboratory  and Personnel certifictaion . GAAS Accreditation demonstrates the impartiality, competence and independence of these CABs. 
GAAS  don’t have any link with any of the bodies/ agencies accredited by GAAS directly or indirectly. Except the fact that each bodies management system has been independently assessed as per relevant standard.

Customer of Supplier who has been certified by the GAAS Accredited CB’s can confirm the status by searching the status on www.gaas.org.in

GAAS is Independent, Impartial organization formed to help certification and third party inspection bodies/ agencies to improve there services at very competitive fees and also to break the monopoly of other accreditation boards.

GAAS accredit certification bodies/ agencies after achieving compliance to ISO 17021, ISO 17020, ISO 17024, ISO 17025, ISO 15189  and there by improving there management system. This help the CB’s to maintain the quality of Management system certification has been restored.

The Client of Small CB’s are also assured of quality of certification by the GAAS accredited Certificate.

The GAAS Board has decided to provide accreditation services to certification / Inspection Bodies established as legal entities Globally . 

The Board will strive for the international recognition of its accreditation schemes through international and regional forums and through bilateral and multilateral mutual recognition arrangements.

OBJECTIVES:

The Objective of GAAS are

To be equally accessible to all the certification body applicants who wish to be accredited to the criteria of the Board within its scope and capability, within the geographical limitations decided by the Board

To upgrade criteria of accreditation in line with international improvements and to foster improvement in the quality of certification process with the support of certification bodies.

To be impartial in its decision on criteria and process of accreditation.

To seek mutual recognition of the accreditation schemes internationally.

To be independent of any undue influence of any stakeholder and to conduct its business professionally.
